Good price for an older edition of the review book. Since it was after the ACT changed, it includes the writing section. I think it's as good as a new one.
ACT books in general are a bore. This book gives some excellent hints and does its best to hold a teenager's attention.
Maybe I can update when the test is over next week.....
The book seems to be very helpful for my daughter. She is retaking her ACT and is more confident than the first time.
I got a 23 on the PLAN test that my school gave, which wasn't a good score for me. I got this book over the summer and I've been using it a bit each day. The tips are profoundly helpful, however there are some annoying mistakes in the drills and in the first practice test (there's a question missing!!!) I know I'll do great when it comes time to take the ACT.
I bought this product for an ACT Bootcamp that our High School is offering in preparation for the upcoming test. I have heard other students say they wished they had gone through this before they ever took the ACT the first time. It seems to be giving my daughter some confidence that she didn't have.
