Barron’s SAT Subject Test Chemistry

A lot of students feel that it is harder to master Chemistry and get a good score than other subject. We did some research, and find out that for preparing SAT Subject Test Chemistry, “Barron’s SAT Subject Test Chemistry” is a good choice, because it gives great review of chemistry, and explains general chemistry in a very clear way. Although the problems in the book are a bit harder than the real test, it can let students be very well prepared for the test.

Well preparation is the only way to score high in SAT Subject Test Chemistry just like other subject test, however, as we mentioned in the beginning, a lot of students are weak on Chemistry subject, and if you are one of them and want to take the SAT Subject Test Chemistry, you definitely need invest more time and need to buy and study this book, you will crack it. To prepare the SAT II Literature in order to improve your score is not a simple matter of learning new vocabulary words or memorizing formulas. The test is very much akin to the Critical Reading Section of the SAT I; however it is even more in depth. We can list a few key differences here; for example, Poetry makes up half of the test, Prose selections are usually shorter and literary definitions beyond “metaphor” and “similie”. Frankly speaking it is very hard to improve your score in short-term for the SAT II Literature, however learning the extra literary definitions needed for the test definitely help.

The book of Barrons “How to Prepare for the SAT II: Literature”, ensures students know all of these terms. In fact, the number of literary concepts, and examples of these concepts in literature, make this book an invaluable resource for English courses. There are 2 Diagnostic tests and 7 practice tests, which give you a lot of practice for your study; however, they are a lot harder than real SATII Literature test, which is the strategy of Barrons’ book in order to let the students well prepared and gain a sense of confidence when entering the test room.

However, some students complain that the questions on the sample tests are too more difficult than the real thing. It is said that you can tell that your scores in this book will tend to be 50-100 points lower when taken under test-like conditions. After our research, we think this book is an excellent book for those students who like challenging themselves and are determined to achieve a high score in the SAT II Literature test.

Depends on your personality, if you feel you may be in a state of desperation or hopelessness because of the difficulty of Barron’s level. We suggest you try the Kaplan book, since the difficulty of the problems in the book is closer to the real test.

A lot of students and instructions recommend the Barron’s book for the test preparation, because its exercises and practice tests really got the students into the mindset of what to look for in the real test. It is recommended that the student should do all the exercises and practice tests in the Barron’s book; coupled with the Kaplan book, which give you a quick effective review then you should be able to achieve a good score in the SAT II Literature test!
