Cracking the SAT Physics Subject Test, 2009-2010 Edition

This book is from Princeton Review, which targets teaching test preparation students the techniques and information needed to maximize their test score. This book covers every major topic covered on the SAT Physics in just the right amount, not too extensive. There are nice practice questions and explanations, which will help students to improve their test taking skills and test scores.

It is recommended by many students who did well in the test and tutors who taught many successful students. It is a Great book for preparing the SAT’s Physics test! However, let me remind you kindly here since it is a excellent test prep book, which gives short and clear explanations suiting to those cram the day before the exam, if you find out some weak point by doing the practice, we still recommend you to refer some other physics books, which cover all fundamentals.

By my researching on SAT subject test book for Physics, this is the best test prep book so far by my knowledge.

Teenagers love high-tech “toys”, I think it is a great idea to meet their needs while guide them to use these “toys” to learn and use them as learning tools will definitely pay off.

Depends on each family’s financial situation and parents’ budget for their teens’ present, we recommend Apple iPod shuffle or Apple iPod nano or iPod touch. We bought an Apple iPod shuffle and gave my 9th grader son last year, and he really loves it, I saw he used it for history study listening the update world news(Podcast), he got very good grades on history course. This Christmas we bought an Apple iPod nano, which can be used to watch videos(Video Podcast) besides listening to audio, I think by using it, my son will have chance to learn more and more. For college students, we recommend Apple iPod touch, which can be used to access internet, read e-mails etc. because it has built-in wireless capability.

Thanks for these beautiful, portable and useful high-tech “toys”, teenagers really love them!

How to Prepare for Sat II: Mathematics Level IIC

This book is a valuable resource for those who are going to take the SAT Math Level IIC, which will help a student to review all the major concepts of geometry, algebra, trigonometric functions, etc. that the test may cover. It starts out with a diagnostic test and points out a student’s weak areas which the student needs to pay more effort. There are practice exercises, which are recommended by experienced tutors and successful students. By using this book, the student can see a gradual or even huge improvement by taking one of the 8 practice tests each time. The main advantage of this book is that its problems are a lot harder than the real problems, so the student can study thoroughly and well prepared for the test.
