Hours of entertainment
My 2 year old received this puzzle from Santa and she loves it. She is already able to find all the pieces that go together and loves for me to help her assemble each individual puzzle. She is a little to young to put them together alone, but still likes to play with the pieces when I am not able to play with her. This is a fun activity to do together and I plan on buying more Infantino puzzles. Very glad we have this! I would highly recommend it.
Wonderful Word Puzzles
My daughter is almost 2 1/2 and got these for Christmas. After putting together a few at a time with me only a couple of times, she now empties the entire box and finds all the pieces, putting them all together correctly by process of elimination. I am astounded how quickly and easily she is able to fit the quality pieces. While she only recognises a few of the letters at the moment, I am sure that once she starts learning more letters and words she will have more fun reading them too. Great product! We also have the shape puzzles, colour and texture puzzles (although not many textures) and number/shape train. She loves them all!
The Everything Kids’ Puzzle Book: Mazes, Word Games, Puzzles & More! Hours of Fun!
This 144 page book is for Ages 9-12.
Good fun, scattered difficulty level
I’ve purchased this item for 11-13 year olds. It is an interesting, varied, not-your-run-of-the-mill activity book, with cute illustrations. A caveat is a large scatter of difficulty among activities, which created frustration when activities could not be figured out (it would’ve been better to mark activities with level of difficulty so children knew when they were approaching the most difficult ones), and some unusual and rather idiosyncratic answers that were difficult even for adults to come up with or explain. Overall, good fun.
A Great Book!
What an awesome book! For kids who loves puzzles, mazes, and word games, this is the perfect gift. I’m giving this to my son, who is 11, for Christmas — I know it’s going to be a winner!
The Outrageous Crossword Puzzle and Word Game Book for Kids
This brand-new collection of word searches, fill-in-the-blanks, crossword puzzles, and word scrambles is just for you! Full of riddles and jokes, these puzzles are not only fun, but funny, too. A special introduction by Will Shortz, the crossword editor of The New York Times, points out just how fun these games can be.
Great for Kids
I bought this for my 9 year old who loves it. I gave it to him last night and he did 4 puzzles. He grabbed it again this morning. This best part is that it wasn’t too challenging. He only has asked me 2 questions so far, so it’s not too advanced.
Great variety of crossword and other word puzzles
My 3rd grader is just eating this up. She wanted a book of crossword puzzles; this has many of those plus a variety of other word puzzles. No patronizing language, goofy artwork or contrived puzzles. I like how they get her to use her vocabulary and spelling, such as with figuring out a word and filling in the missing letters. I also like that the book is not this huge overwhelming monstrosity– perfect size for travel, not too intimidating to complete, and you can set a goal of completing one in order to get the next one.
Gigi says she particularly likes the puzzles where you fill in the middle letters of the words, and those letters in turn make words which form a riddle and its answer.
Word Puzzles For Kids are wonderful choices for children. They are educational and fun! You kids will love it!
